Blogville Olympics!

Hello everyone!

I hope you're all as excited as Floyd and I about the Olympics!

We just sent off all our entries (unless the human manages to snap some more pics between now and the closing date).

We entered five events all up:

We are super happy about all our entries, but we are especially excited about the boxing pic, so keep an eye out for it!

If you would like more info about the games, I suggest you check out this website.

After all the participating I'm pretty beat, so my human built me a little nest under her desk (Floyd prefers to hog the heater).

I think it will come in handy, we're due to get a LOT of rain over the next few days.
I hope we don't get washed away!

  1. That's an ambitious schedule of events. Since the Olympics will take place a day after I turn 10, I'm retired from athletic competition for the most part and have to save my strength for the competitive eating competition in New York later this summer. Kenzie is on the injured disabled list. What I am doing is being the concessionaire for the zooming events-running an organic frozen green bean stand.

  5. THAT sure is a snuggly nest. I have one under my peep's desk, too. I keep forgetting that it's cold where you are and hotter than hades where I am.

I've got to get my entries together....

  6. Dougall, you've never had green beans? It's a Scottie's delight. Fresh or frozen, get your peeps to give you one. I'd go with the fresh in your winter (if you can find them). In the summer, the frozen ones are superb.

    1. I think I saw some in the freezer, I'll have to get the humans to defrost them for me.

    2. No need to defrost-just chomp on them while they're frozen. But then again, I LOVE ice cubes in the summer. If I hear "Kyla, ICE", I come running. If one falls on the floor from the ice dispenser on the refrigerator, I'm all over it. But I'd rather have a paw full of frozen green beans than ice. They've taken to referring to them as "geebees" but I know what they mean. I even love frozen geebees in the winter. Now They get them in the restaurant stores, but don't tell anyone that for the Olympics, my concession stand has restaurant quality green beans, it might start a panic rush and I'd be overwhelmed.

    1. Just remember that you don't stand a chance of winning without green beans just before the competition.
