Zoomies!!

The humans decided that they missed Floyd too much to be angry with him any longer. So we all welcomed him back today with open arms and paws.

To celebrate we took Floyd for walkies again and we made a new friend! We met up with one of my human's friends and her doggy Rushie, a very pretty whippet!

We met at the park down the road from our house and when I first saw her I got SO excited I couldn't control my yipping! I yipped over and over and over again! My human said I was SO LOUD that the whole neighbourhood would have heard me... Ooops... I think also sort of scared Rushie... :/

But after we started walking I eventually calmed down... Eventually, after we walked several blocks to the big sports field on the other side of the suburb...

We we got to the sports field we all got let of the lead had the bestest game of zoomies EVER!!

Floyd and Rushie got along really well, they zoomed around so fast, I had trouble keeping up!

I'm exhausted from all the fun, I'm glad Floyd was home to enjoy the walkies with me...

PeeS: Floyd wanted me to pass on his gratitude to Ruby, for helping him out during his... trouble... He made a little something for you, Hope they taste great!

  1. Yummers!! What a wunderful gift! Thanks bunches! Hey, Floyd and I had a fabulous time, he can hide out in my tunnel ANYTIME. I find it helps to let the 'heat die down', before showin' one's face....looks like it worked! Your new friend is beautiful! Dougall, you sure do your bestest to keep up with the big guys! Impressive, I must say!

Til the next tasty treat gets gone......

    Kisses,

    Ruby

  3. Hi there, Dougall - looks like you all had a fantastic time going zoomies! I am very jealous because it's been raining here for weeks, and Mum and Dad are thinking about building an Ark (whatever that is).

    Keep on zoomin' Dougall.

  7. I am so glad that Floyd is forgiven and all is back to normal. Dougall, you did a great job trying to keep up, but us little guys have shorter leggers so its hard sometimes. You were doing great zoomies.

  9. Zoomies are Susie-Belle's sister Renae's favourite thing to do on a walk, usually when we're all tired and n our way home, she'll get a manic burst of energy out of nowhere. Weird.

Glad you had a lovely zoomy walk :)
