Lost in the post...

Today when we checked the mail guess what we found.... More lovely cards!

They must have got lost in the post, but with them, all up Floyd and I got FIFTY-FIVE cards!

On another note, look at the pretty thingy my peep put on the wall today...


Those are some good looking hooks!

On ANOTHER note... Think of me this coming week as the temperature soars...


I am NOT looking forward to Saturday... ick! For you guys in the US, 45 Celsius is 112 F!! *faints*

I know where I'll be on Saturday...

  1. I'd watch out for Sunday. The temp may be down a touch, but the humidity is over 50%-yecch.

    112 degrees is just TERRIBLES!!!!! Then again so is dat humidity...ugh. We has humidity likes dat too.

  3. Yeap, we are there with you, we hit 113 here in August, and if not for our pool we would have been greasy black spots in the yard. We Feel The Pain Buddy!

  5. Dougall you and Floyd are gonna need ICE fur your POOL. THAT would make it COOL DROOL. Ernie and I could send you some Cold SNOW... would THAT help?
    OMD your card count just keeps comin... I suspect your peeps have been HIDING them Outta pure SHAME. They can be really sneaky that way, you know.
    LOVE those HOOKS. Grrrrreat place to hang your walkin strings... butt then as hot as it is gonna be... you may not want to be taking much of a walkie. You could fry your feets.

    1. My peep says it depends on something called "El Nino" and "La Nina"... Which she says has something to do with the temperatures of the southern ocean... Sounds like nonsense to me!!

  14. Howdy Dougal and Floyd, we had the same thing today too. Received five more cards and it was a lovely surprise. We love your new hooks. Keep cool mate. We are having exactly the same weather here in Adelaide. 45C tomorrow, phew, then continuing on hot for the next week. Mum says she will have to buy us a pool. Take care all.   19. That is so strange....as I write this it is snowing here....and it is hot where you live....if we could mix the two together it would be a perfect day....however, for me, if it's snowing then it IS a perfect day!
