Floydie's new toy!

 Hewwo! It Floydie here! I has borrowed Dougall's blog (he's busy sleeping).

I noticed (and so did some of you) that I hasn't made much of an appearance on the blog lately, so I thought I tell you about my new toy.

My peep he drinks a LOT of this black fizzy stuffs called "pepsi". Sometimes when the bottle is empty he lets me has it for playing. I love it! I run around and around the yard with it in my mouths, I toss it around, it's great fun!

The other day my peep, he made my game even BETTER!! He putted my crunchy foodables into the bottle before he gave it to me!


Oh my dogs! Look at how excited I is! I had so much fun. Dougall tried to play too, but it is MY toy! So I took it outside...


It is ALL MINE!!!

Please ignore the pile of carpet and carpet underlay that Floyd is standing on... It looks awful. We decided to rip up the carpet that got "Floyded" as the hole just kept getting bigger and bigger (Floyd!). But HE, hasn't got around to taking it to the tip yet... (How embarrassment!)

    It's funny how a plastic bottle can be so entertaining. Indy loves to carry around a plastic water bottle and I remember a lady who raised Irish Wolfhounds. They carried around an empty gallon-size milk bottle!

    Floydie FLOYDIE... that is a super FUN FOOD FLINGING TOY. We love that you RePURPOSED it. We love to repurpose and reuse thingys.
    How long did it take fur you to get all the kibble outta there buddy?
    We LOVE this Idea. We are gonna get our dad to do that fur US. You are BRILLIANT Floyd.
    We are NOT going to mention that Carpet incident. Totally NOT.

    SHE tried that bottle game with us. I, Daisy, gave up easily but Kendra, who's over the bridge, just chomped right through it and got the treats!

    Hey Floydie. Our pack loves those bottles too. They rip them apart and enjoy biting it for the crackling sound.

    I gave up on tough toys because even Kongs don't last. The bottles are cheap and we simply replace them with new ones after a good number of bite marks.

    Go Floyd! Looks like you've been having a great time with your new toy - and what a clever idea that is to recycle a plastic cola bottle! Interestingly - our tiny village school has an ongoing project, building a school greenhouse using clear plastic bottles instead of glass! :-)

    looks like a brilliant game! Typists dog loves bottles to the extent that she took him for a walk last night, he dug deep into a hedge and came out with a empty 4 pints milk bottle that he then carried for the remainder of the walk, well until a little from the end when he dropped it so she picked it up and looked like a crazy person carrying an empty 4 pint, chewed milk bottle
