Phew!

Talk about a busy time of the year! There is so much going on around here!

I had to practically TIE the peep down to get out cards in the post last week! I had her addressing envelopes into the wee hours of the morning so we could get them in the post before Friday, she was complaining about "writer's cramp"  (what a sook) but we got them all done in the end!

Apparently Australia Post has raised international post costs.... I think next year we might have to send our overseas furends Ecards... Sorry guys! The peep said they had to pick her up off the floor when they told her how much it was going to cost to send them this year.

We've been getting cards from you guys, left right and centre, and... As expected we are SO beating the peeps in the annual card comp! Count as of today...

Dougall and Floyd: 19 (paper and Ecards)
Peeps: 1

ONE!!! BAHAHAHAHA!!!

We also put our gift's for the gift exchange in the mail, hope they get to you on time and that you love them Jasper and Nellie!

After all that hard work we managed to talk the peeps into taking us to see Alex...

Alex is the best! Floyd and I have so much fun at his house! Wish we could visit him every day!

  4. Australia Post--talk about price gouging! Luckily, we got MOST of our cards ready to be sent from the US where it was about 25c per card and 90c for overseas! $2.55 per stamp......even Ned Kelly would never do that!

Your card came. We did comment on your last post.....Floydie Boy the Larrikan.

  5. We sent an e-card this year and to be honest, Mum enjoyed painting it far more than just buying them.

  9. Yup...mom says international postage is nothing to sneeze at - we're not 100% sure what she means by that but we're thinking it's just a fancy way of saying that it's expensive. We sent out snail mail cards to our special, special furends and then we made an aroooootiful e-card for everybuddy else, mom says it's the only way we could include everybuddy and still have money left over for Christmas presents *BOL*

We cannot believe how fast Alex is growing!

  10. Alex looks like he is really discussing something important with you Dougall. We got a card from New Zealand and we were surprised to see their postage was more than ours. We think our postage is high.
    Thanks for being a friend
