| I went to the groomer today, so I am looking very handsome |
It's pretty thirsty work, but the loch is still closed because of the toxic blue-green algae, so we can't drink it, she brought our little bowl with us instead...
She took some more photos of the water, so you can see how yucky and green it has gone.
The loch goes like this most summers because it gets a lot of water running off near by farms, which is full of fertilizer. The fertilizer is pawfect food for the algae which also loves the warm weather... I don't know what the peeps can do to fix it...
So, without the water fun we have to be content with just the walkies... Here I am at the half way point...
They have those posts all around the track (pawfect for leaving peemail). We all think the third sign down is pretty funny... No Pooping Allowed! ....BOL!
We saw this guy when we were on the home stretch...
He scuttled away quickly, I can't believe the peep was quick enough to get this pic! Doesn't he blend in well with the bark on this old gum tree!
It was a great walk, I hope we get to do it again soon, but boy does it make us doggies sleepy!!

Obi is still not home, he was last seen on Wednesday but not since then... We are going to help the peeps put up some posters today, I hope it helps... We are SO worried about him...
Oh, poor Obi! Thank you for helping with the posters! I am sure someone will find him soon - I know his peeps must be awful worried!

ReplyDeleteGreat walk Dougall & Floyd. We had the same problem with one of our ponds on the park. In the end they had to put air filters in it as the water was actually poisonous because of the algae. Our paws are crossed still for Obi.
