Bugs under the Carpet?

Well, it has been a while since the peep first discovered the terrible carpet destruction...

And believe me it has not been forgotten... (well, it's hard for the peep to forget when she has to walk over the site of destruction several times a day!)

Last week the whole affair came to a head when Floyd's case when finally heard in court.

His legal rep, Foley Monster Attorney at Paw made an excellent and convincing argument.

Her argument was that Floyd was not in fact destroying the carpet, BUT that he was attempting to SAVE and PROTECT the carpet from pesky, destructive bugs!

And you'll never guess (I certainly didn't see it coming) but the judge BOUGHT IT was convinced!

So, Floydie is currently free and happy... Free enough to go for a walk around the lake this morning, she had to leave very early to fit the walk in before she had to go to that nasty work place, here is a lovely pic of the sun coming up over the lake...

Speaking of the lake, Floydie REALLY wanted to have a paddle in the water but, she had to say no because the water is infected with toxic blue-green algae, just look at the colour of the water!

So, he had to be happy with zooming...

On another, really sad note, our furend Obi ( who we had fun with at the dog park)

Has gone missing!! :(

He peeps had some men over to paint and they left the gate open and Obi wandered away... :(

He has been missing for THREE DAYS and his peeps are VERY sad and worried.

We have all been very worried, we've been asking everyone for help and his peeps have offered a reward to anyone who helps bring him home...

So, I'm going to end this post with...

OBI PAWLEASE COME HOME!!!

  4. Uh oh, Floyd didn't believe his own defence, did he? Your mum is going to have to walk at least 87 gazillion steps every day to blow off a bit of steam!

We hope Obi finds his way home soon.

Gosh, I am so glad that your pawtorney got Floyd out of those ridiculous charges. CLEARLY there were bugs beneath that carpet and he was just doing his due diligence to eradicate them! Sweet, sweet freedom, Floyd - enjoy it! :)
