Spending time with Fergus

Things have been pretty subdued around here. My peep has been visiting Uncle Fergus every day...

Fergie spends a lot of his time sleeping in his big bean bag, he looks nice and comfy!

He does get up and wander around some times, yesterday he even had a little play with the peep...

Here he is about to step outside for a drink... Look at his nude belly!

The peep hasn't take Floyd and I to see him, she's worried that we'd be to boisterous for him... I don't know where she would that idea...

Our furend Kyla (who was Fergis' date for the Valentine's Day ball) has been VERY SICK, please stop by her blog and wish her well... She's a funny girl and we NEED her to get better, so does her sister Kaci.

-----

On a completely different note, my peep is doing this thing call the "Walk In Her Shoes Challenge" for CARE Australia.

It's a challenge to walk 10,000 steps every day for 7 days and to raise money to help CARE support girls and women in developing countries finish school and work to support their families and communities.

See, many girls and women have to walk VERY long distances for food, firewood and water, this is one of the reasons they aren't able to go to school or earn and income.

My peep is trying to do her little bit to help and she would like your help... If you are able to, can your pawleeeeeeese click THIS LINK and donate some money to help girls living in poverty... My peep would be really grateful...

And, so would I, you see it is a WALK In her Shoes Challenge... Yup WALK... You know what that means... EXTRA WALKIES!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please support my pursuit of extra walkies....

Thankyou.

  1. Oh yes, Uncle Fergus looks incredibly comfortable and happy! Hehe, his poor belly...but at least he'll feel cool. Perhaps, if you both promise to stay calm, you might get to go hang out with him?! ;-) Wow, 10k steps?! Phew, that's so much! Good for your peep though...and for you and Floyd!! Take care and still sending lots of licks and positive thoughts Fergus' way!!! :-D

  2. Poor Fergus....he sounds just like our Kendra. Good days and bad days. Our thoughts are with him and his family.

10,000 steps per day is actually quite hard...SHE tried it. Great cause though, so we wish her well.

  3. We send more healing paw and best wishes to Fergus. Rest up sweet pup and get better soon. Well done on a 10,000 a day. Think we might already do that running round the house LOL! Have a super Saturday.

  4. Fergie really does look comfey in his bean bag. Maybe your mom could just take you one at a time to visit Fegie - but you know - we dogs "KNOW" when another doggie isn't well and we usually tend to be more respectful of them

  14. Here's to a speedy recovery for Fergus! My Heather had a shaved belly like that, too, just a few weeks ago when they found her tumor. Much to our surprise, the hair grew back very quickly! I'll be thinking of you, Fergus!!
