Don't worry, the beds are still intact. Floyd only tried to "Floyd" them once (unsuccessfully) but he got into LOTS of trouble and hasn't tried again since.
Floyd loves his bed, he sleeps in it all night long and enjoys nap time in it during the day.
What about me, you say? Well, I give mine a go every now and then. But I have another place that I like for sleeping.
You'll never guess where it is...
Yup... I like to sleep over the hole that Floyd made in the carpet.
What can I say...? The cement is nice and cool on my belly!
My peep is trying to convince me to stay there when they have guests over (until she can afford to get it fixed!)

Kaci and I sleep with Him. In the summer (it's coming) I like to sleep in a doorway with my head on the soft carpet and my body on the cool tile.

LOL! Our post is about beds, too. We scotties do not sleep on them very much. Like you, we prefer the floor or tiles, though our concrete doesn't poke through. Which reminds us, Floyd got off those charges!

there are some great hints online how to fix carpet yourself - it is really easy - even for a human! We agree though, a cool spot is the best - maybe your mom should just cut out a dog shaped bad and leave that spot open for you :)

See, Floydie was just HELPING you with your sleepin' comfort. He is such a thoughtful doggie!! Hopefully your peeps won't feel the need to fix it anytimes soon ~ you can just lay over the spot like a throw rug whenever company is over! Win-win!! Just remember to gets your payment in treaties afterwards!

It's ok Dougall, during summer we are also partial to the cool floor tiles over our bed. Just make sure Floyd doesn't get any ideas and decides to take over both beds.
