What's on?

It's called Animal Emergency. It's set at the Lort Smith Animal Hospital.

This poor kitten had a very sad story... She was found in a plastic bag in a bin... I know. Too horrible to imagine! She had horrible injuries too, the vet thinks she was probably hit by a car, thought to be dead and then chucked in the bin.

Now... I'm not a big cat lover (Blogville cats excepted) but I don't think ANY animal deserves to go through that.

But this lucky kitty (which is what the staff named her, Lucky) was fixed up (she did end up losing one back leg) and adopted by one of the carers from the Lort Smith Animal Shelter.

I think, that after such a horrible start, Lucky deserve the best she can get!

  1. Poor kitty. We probably wouldn't even chase her.....much.

    XXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy

We watch most of those Vet shows, too.

  2. That was an awful thing to do but we are glad all was well in the end. Dougall you obviously enjoy the program. Have a terrific Tuesday.
    Best wishes Molly

  3. it is horrible what happens to furbabies ...Mom can't watch shows like that anymore - her eyes leak to much and she gets so angry.

  4. That is just shocking..awful. Have a great Tuesday xx00xx

  5. You wonder how manKIND got that name. There's a new channel here, Dog TV. It is supposed to baby sit dogs who are left alone for a while. It's extra cost but they're not springing for it. Kaci loves sports and action (horse racing is her fave) and I'm into the cooking channel.

  6. OMD! Some peeps don't get it. I'm glad we all have loving homes.

    Aroo to you,

  7. I'm so distracted by Your Royal Cuteness that it's hard to pay attention to the TV.

  8. BOL we have been watching Too Cute
    Benny & Lily

  9. Good for lucky that somebody checked on her, and now has a furever home. Dougall move away from the TV, your eyes will cross. Go run around some, or your will become a zombie!

    The Mad Scots

  10. We are glad we did not see that on our TV!

  15. That is too sad to imagine and things like this happen far too often. So glad that Lucky found a new life and home!

  16. I just hate it when things like that happen. I wonder what people would do if we stuffed THEM in a bag in a bin?????

  17. I love how you watch TV! You are adorable Dougall!
    Alyssa, Mr. Fox & Scruffy

  18. Howdy Dougall, we watch that show too and love it, although the stories like the little kitty one make us very sad and angry too! Thank goodness she now has a loving and forever home. Love your photo mate. Take care. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory

  19. Dougall, those shows make us sad :( We leave the room when we hear animals in distress.
We are glad that kitty found help.

    Wyatt and Stanzie

  20. Oh... poor kitty:( Lots of kissesdougall!

  21. Mama can't watch these types of shows - she cries too much - so she said she's pleased that you were strong enough to watch it and have been able to report on this story, thankfully with a happy ending. She's just told me what she'd like to do to these people, but honestly I'm now far to scared to print what she's just said - but I think you all know what she means!
