What's on?

It's called Animal Emergency. It's set at the Lort Smith Animal Hospital.

This poor kitten had a very sad story... She was found in a plastic bag in a bin... I know. Too horrible to imagine! She had horrible injuries too, the vet thinks she was probably hit by a car, thought to be dead and then chucked in the bin.

Now... I'm not a big cat lover (Blogville cats excepted) but I don't think ANY animal deserves to go through that.

But this lucky kitty (which is what the staff named her, Lucky) was fixed up (she did end up losing one back leg) and adopted by one of the carers from the Lort Smith Animal Shelter.

I think, that after such a horrible start, Lucky deserve the best she can get!

  5. You wonder how manKIND got that name. There's a new channel here, Dog TV. It is supposed to baby sit dogs who are left alone for a while. It's extra cost but they're not springing for it. Kaci loves sports and action (horse racing is her fave) and I'm into the cooking channel.

  18. Howdy Dougall, we watch that show too and love it, although the stories like the little kitty one make us very sad and angry too! Thank goodness she now has a loving and forever home. Love your photo mate. Take care. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory

  21. Mama can't watch these types of shows - she cries too much - so she said she's pleased that you were strong enough to watch it and have been able to report on this story, thankfully with a happy ending. She's just told me what she'd like to do to these people, but honestly I'm now far to scared to print what she's just said - but I think you all know what she means!
