He's grown a lot since I last posted about him. He goes to "big school" now, but it's Easter holiday time, and he needed somepawdy to look after him while his mum was a work.
So, naturally, being the helpful boy I am I put up my paw and said I'd keep an eye on him for the day.
Well, he wasn't here very long before there was a DISASTER! Floyd and I ran outside to bark at the postie (I swear, we only took our eyes off Dylan for a MINUTE). I'm not sure what happened, but the next thing I knew, there was blood everywhere!
I dragged Floyd inside and the peep took a look at him and found this...
She quickly rang the dogtor to get Floyd's claw looked at as soon as possible!!
I was very worried about my big brother (I know, he is a PAIN, but I still love him... Most of the time). Lucky Dylan was here to keep me company...

I SWEAR that isn't a look of terror on Dylan's face! He was GIGGLING!! I was giving him thank you kisses, for looking after me! (Funny, wasn't I meant to look after him?)
Floyd came home with a bright blue bandage, the dogtor said he was lucky, he hadn't broken his toe, just his dew claw, which they pulled out then wrapped everything up. It should all grow back like normal.
Floyd was a little sore, and spent the rest of the day doing this...
I hope he feels better soon... Although, I won't lie. I am enjoying the more subdued version of Floyd... Just a little...

OH this is terrible.. How will you Dig and do FUN stuffs with Dylan?
We don't have Dew Claws... beclaws mom says that she was afraid of somethingy like that happening to one of us.

Poor Floydie. We're glad it wasn't anything too bad, and Posties have to be barked at. Roxy is the only one with dew claws around here.

Floyd is a boxer and they're almost as tough as terriers. That is unless he's called Pretty Boy Floyd.

Owieeeeeeee! I have to think that hurt so, so much. I can't believe after PULLING the nail out, it will just grow back. Dogs are amazing! I sure hope he's going to be OK - the postie will be back and wonder why you aren't there barking at him!

Feel better Floyd. Shelby feels your pain. Her dewclaw owie wasn't as bad, but she went to the vet to get it fixed. We are glad that Dougall had company while you were being helped.

We gotta say, it was probably worth it cause running up to the letterbox, barking at the Postie, is one of life's great pleasures isn't it! Take is easy and Happy Easter to you all.
