Quality time with the humans?

When my human told me she had two weeks off work I was SO excited! I was invisaging running through fields with her, walks, walks and more walks followed by cuddles on the lounge.

Little did I know, she would decide to start the two weeks with a... bath.

Granted I MIGHT have brought upon myself when I left muddy paw prints all over her freshly mopped tiles... oops!

My feet were pretty dirty...

And so was the bath when the ordeal was over...

After all that it doesn't look like the second day of the break will be much better, she just broke the news that I'll be going to the dogtor about my teeth.

My upper canines just don’t seem to want to leave my mouth (they’re both still puppy teeth) and they have strangely gone black... The humans are worried, even though I don’t seem to be uncomfortable. I still run around after Floyd and play wild games of bitey-face, they’re worried about infection.

So, off I’ll be going tomorrow to have someone look at them. I’ll report back when I have news.

Hope you are all going well and that my friends in the US haven’t been over cooked in the heat wave or lost any possessions or loved ones in fires and storms. My thoughts are with those experiencing hardship.
