You wanna know why?
Well, you see, it has been two WHOLE weeks since I've... ummm... had an accident...
My humans are very happy, let me tell you!!
They were beginning to think I'd never get my head around this whole "toilet training" thing!
It didn't help that Floyd was a super fast learner. He picked up on the "doing your business outside" idea, in about two weeks...
It took me a bit longer... Three months...
To commemorate this great achievement, my human presented me with this wonderful certificate.
I'm going to display it with pride!!
Congratulations, Dougall! That's a huge achievement! Molly still has an occasional peepee accident.
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots,
Mitch and Molly
It makes me feel better that Molly is also finding the learning process a challenge!
DeleteShe'll get there soon!
Waggles, Dougall.
CONGRATULATIONS Dougall .....well done. Have a brilliant Sunday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
Gee, thanks Molly!
DeleteWell Done Dougall! We are both over a year old and still have accidents in the house! We were actually wondering if you would maybe take a look at our brand new blog:(http://wallaceandsamuel.wordpress.com/)- we started it after seeing yours (which we LOVE).
ReplyDeleteWet nose kisses,
Wallace and Samuel
It is so great to meet you guys!! I will defurnitely check out your blog, I love making new friends.
DeleteWaggles, Dougall.
Uh, I'm ten and when it is wet outside (which is rare in the desert), I go inside. It keeps Them on Their toes. I can't stand going poo with wet feet. My rationale is that They go inside. They can't fight that logic.
ReplyDeleteYou know, I can see where you are coming from... But, I don't mind the wet weather, doesn't really bother me.
DeleteYou are the MAN Dougall!! Sometimes it takes time!
ReplyDeleteKisses,
Ruby
Hehe, thanks Ruby.
DeleteGood Boy Dougall!!!
ReplyDeleteAlyssa, Mr. Fox & Scruffy
Thanks guys!
DeleteWhat a good boy you are Dougal!!! Keep up the good work!! How old are you? I am a 2 yo westie boy and it took me a year, I have a new little sister (3 mo old), she is coming along slowly!!
ReplyDeleteCory and Kenzie
I'm just over 6 months old. Your little sister will get it eventually! You could show her how it's done!
DeleteI go out with Kenzie and Mom each time, but Mom keeps telling me to talk to her. I haven't done that. it is my quiet time when she is in her "box" or playpen, so I am not sure I want her to be free all the time. She bites my ears and tail and anything she can get hold of!!!
DeleteCory
Oh dear... hehe!
DeleteCongrats there Dougal. WE are all real proud of you.
ReplyDeleteBert
Thanks Bert buddy.
DeleteHooray Dougal. Congratulations, boy!
ReplyDeleteXXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
Thanks, ladies :)
Deleteoh Dougall, your two legged ones are pawsome, giving you that award (I never got one ....... would it be too late to ask for one now???). Good on you for doing so well. It took me MONTHS to get my head around it - They say it's because I had a nasty first owner who must have been nasty to me when I was first learning so I was very nervous about peeing and all that, but I'm ok now - just like you are! Well done!

PS We are still very annoyed about that 'lowest intelligence' comment.
I'm glad you feel better about doing your business... It's a normal part of life!
DeleteOh congratulations Dougall, you deserve a medal :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Cotton! :)
DeleteWell done, Dougall! I'm proud of you!
