Socks!

Now, usually I'm a "good boy". My humans tell me so... Everyday...

But we can't all be good, ALL the time.... Can we?

You see, I have one little, itty-bitty naughty habit... I like to play with THEIR socks.



I like to get my paws on them when ever I can.

If they leave the door to their bedroom, or the laundry open I slip in like a flash and grab any socks left on the floor and then I slip out again like lightning!!

Then I run off, either to my bed or the lounge room to give 'em a good old chew before they take them off me... They call me their "Sneaky Little Sock Snatcher"!

Its all just good fun really, no doggies or humans get hurt...


Well, the socks sort of get hurt but... Umm, never mind...

What about you, do you ever let your naughty side out to get up to mischief? Do you do anything that you think is innocent fun but gets on "their" nerves?

    Are you certain that those are good socks? They could be trying to trick you and give you socks They planned on throwing away anyway. Inspect them, go for the quality.

    I, Daisy, used to hide one of each pair of HER socks in the garden. We're still finding those suckers.

    Roxy is always draggin' around HER socks.

    My mom has ALWAYS put our her "TOMORROW" Clothes.. TONIGHT and whenever I get a chance... I carry her SOCKS out to the TV room.. just fur some FUN. No Harm.. No foul. I'm just sayin.

    Oh erm Dougall maybe socks is a liddul better than my habit. I like slippers and chewing them. Slippers are nice:)

    Me, well I never do anything that makes My Vickie wish I was better, except maybe, when I eat tennis balls, rocks, and chew toys. or maybe when I jump on people and lick them inthe face, or possibly when I have to roll in every stinky smelly dead thing we pass, or Maybe.....

    oh yes, when i was a puppy, i'd sneak in and snag a sock out of the laundry pile. those holes look strikingly familiar! but just keep looking innocent and cute and the humans just cannot get mad at you.

    Why is the Monday Mischief posted on a Thursday.Oh Dougall, you must be full of surprises if this was posted on a different day.

    Anyway, I am thankful to not have those kinds of issues with my dogs. They rarely pick up things that aren't supposed to be touched.

    Hey Dougall, My peeps are around ALL the time so I very rarely get to do cool thingys like sock chewing. My fav thing to do is to snatch their shoes and pull out the innards.....BOL.... that makes em' a little angry!!

    Mom leaves the dirty clothes basket right on the floor where I can reach it. I need to give this a try!
    I like to sneak into the shower stall when the peeps are all done with showers and lick up the water.

    Todd gets into mischief a lot--Just this morning he was running around the house playing with 'something.' That 'something' was a pair of scissors--I really thought I'd taught him not to run with scissors in his mouth!! :-) But just like you he loves socks, they really are a favorite and are so chewable, aren't they?!

    Washing...our weakness is washing especially when it's flapping in the breeze. In particular we target the towels and...wait for it...SOOOOOCKS!!!!! It drives mom craaaazy!!!!!

      Washing in general is pretty good. Floyd thinks anything that the humans are carrying around the house must be toys, so that includes washing, clothes, books, me...
