We've got a good one for you to think about today, a Friday Fought from my brudder Floyd...
Now, I don't know about you guys, but Floyd and I take our security duties VERY seriously. And, for some reason, they are not at all appreciative... Sometimes, they are even CROSS at us for barking at potential intruders like the postie... Do you have the same troubles with your peeps?
Oh my gosh YES. My parents sometimes get very cross with me when I try to save them!!!!!
ReplyDeletePeeps don't understand how important it is that we keep these postie types in their place.
ReplyDeleteFloyd, it also keeps the flying elephants away.
ReplyDeleteOMD OMD Y E S !!!! YES, Floydie.... we suffer the SAME thingy here with OUR peeps..... they are TOTALLY CLUELESS..... sort of SAD don't you think??? They don't seem to EVER catch on...
ReplyDeleteOMD bark about being under appreciated, I see things at night that the peeps don't see. I mean are they blind! I bark even harder and louder but the peeps just tell me to hush up. What the woof is up with that?
ReplyDeleteAroo to you,
Sully
Sounds like what happens here... Silly peeps!
DeleteSo true. Then there's the Milko, the garbage and recycle trucks, bin cleaners, kids, delivery men, cats, other dogs, joggers, walkers......it is EXHAUSTING. Hope your pawrents appreciate all of your effort.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, and the kids walking home from school, or riding their bikes UP and DOWN the street...
DeleteI always bark da mailman.
ReplyDeleteI (Sammy) am the head of security here at home and I too take my duties very seriously...my peeps also severely under-appreciate all my hard work and dedication.
ReplyDeleteHave a grrreat weekend.
Sammy (and Wally)
Imagine if they didn't have us to look after them...
DeleteBarking to let the peeps know that the mail person is coming is our job too, Floyd, and we think it's a VERY important job!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots♥
Mitch and Molly
My wheaten brother and our cousin Harvey like to bark and bark and bark until the humans yell and lock them in the house. They bark at the postman, wheels, squirrels, passers by, noises next door, the Food Lady digging in the garden, butterflies, grasshoppers, and often just at nothing. Sometimes I bark but only at other dogs.
ReplyDeleteThey're always locking Floyd and I inside too... So not fair!
